Kia Ora Mini Farm
Kia Ora Mini Farm is a fabulous and fun place for children of all ages to experience first hand the world of animals and life on a farm. Located only three miles from Courtown, the farm boasts the splendour of the Sunny South East and is suitable for all weathers as a lot of animals are indoors. On visiting the farm, you will be greeted by a host of delightful animals including Eddie the Emu. Children can roam around, visit the animals in their enclosures and the added bonus is that they can feed and touch them. Among the many animals at Kia Ora farm are pot belly pigs, emus, geese, tropical birds, ducks, barn owls, Jacob sheep, ponies, donkeys, rabbits, mice, Guinea pigs, deer and much more besides. Comprising four acres, the farm also features other attractions such as an indoor and outdoor picnic area, a football area, Wendy house, sand pit, ride on tricycles and ride-on toy machinery.
There is also a selection of old farm machinery on display. Children’s lunches are catered for by request, as are birthdays and other parties. Parents can have coffee in the unique Coffee Shed while their children are looked after. Wheelchair Friendly. Coming up to Christmas, Santa is also a familiar face at the farm.
