Canoeing can be enjoyed on the river Barrow, probably the finest river for canoeing in Ireland, while sea canoeing is also popular off the Wexford coastline. Diving centres are available in Hook, Kilmore Quay and Wexford Town. Sailing instruction is available at Wexford ,Rosslare, Kilmore Quay, Courtown, Duncannon are also popular. Surfing in Wexford is good for both the experienced and beginner. Wexford offers a wide variety of beach and reef breaks with small to medium surf and occasionally large surf. For Water-skiing, Courtown and Rosslare are main centres, but there is potential all along coast. Windsurfing is a very popular and competitive sport in Ireland.
